Travelling from Amsterdam and Brussels all participating students and instructors from UCU and RA have arrived to our hotel in Brooklyn today. Our busy and exciting program begins tomorrow with an early morning lecture from Prof. Dave King and Prof. Stacey Sutton in Columbia University, Department of Planning and Architecture on current planning issues. We will then have a guided walking tour of midtown Manhattan on theme parks and public spaces. In the afternoon teams will explore their research neighbourhoods. I think we will all look forward to the evening program and New York by night on the Staten Island ferry!

Field course New York: First day in New York
